Richmond trip

So how about I am on a trip with my boss R to Richmond and I get into a discussion with him about my current job duties and where I see this going. He knows L is not a long term thing for me, but I want to learn as much as I can while I am there.

Essentially, what's going to happen to me. I do HR/Work Comp/Safety for my division of the company. That is going to pretty much be dissolved - the HR part of it - because of the shut downs we have had with our customers this year (thanks guys) and I am going to take over our Marine project full time.

I am a control freak. I have worked hard to get my area as efficient and organized as it is, worked hard to build the relationships I have with the employees, worked hard to take on other job duties so that I can help others in the company out. And instead of being able to keep doing something I love...because of the economy...I have to give all of that up to someone else so I can focus on the logistics part of another job I am doing for L. ...which is job security and potential opportunities in ANOTHER FIELD OF WORK. Not pleased.

Any ideas of where I can find an HR job with a stable company right now? Didn't think so...

Going to a hs baseball game to support roomies brother. Still nursing a sore hamstring...boo. AC is out at the house, double boo. Maybe even a crap!

Great night out with friends. Three different groups of friends all came together for dinner tonight and we had the best time!!!

Awesome church service and great day with my aunt. Time to pack for Charlotte.

Just finished taking libby, the great dane, to lowe's. She pulled hard, she busted blood vessels in my hand. But I love her
