Useless

I hate feeling useless. I hate feeling unloved. I hate feeling like I don't have anyone there for me. And I'm not talking about my friends. I have some of the most amazing friends a girl could ever ask for. It's just hard dating someone five hours away that won't call you. That won't even send a damn text message.

Maybe this is teaching me patience because I am fairly certain if he lived any closer, I would have to cut a finger off every time he did this. And then I would be stuck feeding him and probably buying him a motorized scooter because I would already be on the toes.

I think it's time to move on. Unfortunately.

On a lighter note, my tiny sewing machine is pretty much the most fantastic piece of equipment I have right now - sorry computer, sorry Ipod, don't let me hurt your feelings. Once I get comfortable enough with it -- I am making my own stuff. Toys for kids, purses, whatever I want!!!! And I can't wait.

I forgot to mention that TWILIGHT ROCKED MY FACE OFF. I am in love with that movie and can even say that I think Edward is gorgeous now that I have seen the movie...as long as he stays a vampire. Just like I think Orlando Bloom is freaking sexy as an elf in Lord of the Rings. Yum.

I am seriously contemplating going to the doctor for a shot. A shot. I know right? Utterly ridiculous. I have been violently ill the last couple of days and couldn't even take full advantage of JM being in town. That really upsets me. He's coming in to town for no other reason than to see me and all I want to do is hang upside down from the couch so that maybe if I act odd, I'll feel better. Logical, huh? Didn't work, FYI.

Yuck. Ugh. Gag.

Creations

Lately...

...I have been so covered up with work that I don't even come home and take my usual nap because I am so wired from the day. Doing several jobs all at one time will do that to you, especially if one of the jobs you are doing is completely foreign to you.

On top of all of this, Monday & Tuesday I get to learn another new job. I am fairly certain that I am crosstrained in at least 40% of the positions at the company. ...mind you, I didn't say that I was crosstrained and could be left alone for extended periods of time to do them, but I know them well enough to get through them on a regular basis.

I miss my grils. and the simple life. and not the tv show the simple life either.
